NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. MUST BE 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER AT THE TIME OF ENTRY TO ENTER OR WIN. OFFERED ONLY TO U.S. RESIDENTS WHO RESIDE AT A LOCATION WHICH IS ELIGIBLE TO SUBSCRIBE TO VERIZON FIOS RESIDENTIAL SERVICE. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
1. ELIGIBILITY: The “SpongeBob SquarePants: The Broadway Musical” Tickets Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) is open only to individuals who are legal residents of CT, DC, DE, MA, MD, NJ, NY, PA, RI, and VA aged eighteen (18) years or older as of the date of entry residing at a location that is eligible to subscribe to Verizon FiOS residential service (“Entrant”). Individuals must have access to the Internet in order to enter or win. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. Employees of Verizon Corporate Services Inc. (“Sponsor”) or Viacom International Inc. (“Viacom”) and their respective affiliates, parents, subsidiaries, advertising, production and promotion agencies, and the immediate families and members of the same household of each are not eligible. All federal, state, local and municipal laws and regulations apply.
2. TIMING: The Sweepstakes is scheduled from 12:00:00 am Eastern Time (“ET”) on May 21st, 2018 and ends at 11:59:59 pm ET on June 30th, 2018. The Sponsor’s computer or that of its designee is the official timekeeper of this Sweepstakes.
3. HOW TO ENTER: To enter the Sweepstakes, visit the website at www.2018SpongeBobBroadwayGiveaway.com to complete and submit the online entry form with your name and contact information, which includes but is not limited to your (i) e-mail address, (ii) telephone number, and (iii) street address at which you reside. PLEASE NOTE: Limit one entry per person and/or email address. In the event of a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the authorized account holder of the e-mail account will be deemed to be the entrant. “Authorized account holder” of an e-mail address is the natural person in whose name the e-mail address has been issued. No software-generated, robotic, programmed, script, macro, or other automated online entries are permitted. All entries submitted in accordance with these Official Rules shall be collectively hereinafter referred to as “Eligible Entries.”
4. WINNER SELECTION & PRIZE: On or about June 30, 2018, Sponsor will conduct a random drawing from among all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period to award four (4) Grand Prizes. Each Grand Prize consists of two (2) tickets to the “SpongeBob SquarePants: The Broadway Musical” at the Palace Theatre, 1564 Broadway, New York, NY 10036, at a date and time selected by Winner from the list of eligible dates/times provided by Sponsor and Viacom in their sole discretion (subject to availability and/or force majeure events). All Grand Prizes must be fulfilled no later than September 30, 2018. Blackout dates may apply. The total approximate retail value (“ARV”) of each Grand Prize is $500 the total ARV for all Grand Prizes available in this Sweepstakes is $2,000. All expenses not specified are winner’s responsibility. Prize only includes the tickets to the musical. All other costs and expenses associated with prize acceptance and use not specified herein as being provided, including transportation, meals, and lodging are the sole responsibility of the winner. No prize transfer permitted. No prize substitution, in whole or in part, except by Sponsor due to prize unavailability, safety or security considerations, or any other reason as solely determined by Sponsor, in which case a prize of comparable or greater value will be awarded. The restrictions and conditions stated herein are not all-inclusive and the described above may be subject to additional restrictions and conditions, which may be stated in any correspondence with Sponsor.
5. ODDS: The odds of winning the Sweepstakes are dependent upon the number of Eligible Entries received.
6. WINNER NOTIFICATION: The potential winners will be contacted via email and/or phone at Sponsor’s sole discretion using the contact information provided by potential winner in his or her entry submission. To claim the prize, the potential winners will be required to respond to Sponsor’s notification within two days after the aforementioned message and provide his/her full name, email address, physical mailing address, date of birth, and phone number. Subsequently, the potential winners will receive additional prize claim instructions by mail and/or email and will be required to complete, sign, have notarized, and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Liability Release. All requested documents must be returned to Sponsor within time period specified at time of prize notification. At the sole discretion of the Sponsor, disqualification, prize forfeiture and the selection of an alternate winner may result from any of the following: (i) a potential winner’s failure to respond to initial notification within two days after its transmission; (ii)the failure of notification due to deactivation of the potential winner’s email account prior to receipt of notification; (iii) potential winner’s failure to provide Sponsor with satisfactory proof of age, identity, residency and employment (iv) potential winner’s failure to complete and return required documents by the date specified in winner’s notification; and (v) any other non-compliance with these Official Rules.
7. RELEASE: Entrants, winner, and winner’s guest agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsor and Viacom, and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, suppliers, distributors, advertising/promotion agencies, and prize suppliers, and each of their respective parent companies and each such company’s officers, directors, employees and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any claim or cause of action, including, but not limited to, personal injury, death, or damage to or loss of property, arising out of participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use or misuse of any prize. Released Parties are not responsible for: (1) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrant, printing, typographical or other errors or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes; (2) technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software; (3) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Sweepstakes; (4) printing, typographical, technical, computer, network or human error which may occur in the administration of the Sweepstakes, the announcement of the prizes or in any Sweepstakes-related materials; (5) late, lost, undeliverable, damaged or stolen entries; or (6) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use or misuse of the prize.
8. GENERAL CONDITIONS: By entering the Sweepstakes, entrants agree to comply with and be bound by these Official Rules. Failure to comply with the Official Rules may result in disqualification from the Sweepstakes. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the Sweepstakes, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures or any other factor impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Sweepstakes, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. If terminated, Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, select a winner from all non-suspect Eligible Entries received prior to such event. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any entrant it finds to be: (1) tampering or attempting to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes; (2) violating the Official Rules; (3) violating the terms of service, conditions of use or general rules or guidelines of any Sponsor property or service; or (4) acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with the intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person or whose acts or deeds (actual or perceived) would or might be deemed detrimental to Sponsor's reputation, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Any attempt by any person to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages and other remedies (including attorneys’ fees) from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. All interpretations of these Official Rules and decisions by Sponsor are final and binding in all matters related to the Sweepstakes. By participating, entrants agree to permit Released Parties to use his/her name, photograph, likeness, statements, biographical information, voice, voice likeness and city and state address for advertising, publicity and promotional purposes in all media, in perpetuity, without compensation (unless prohibited by law) and agree to execute specific consent to such use upon request. Normal Internet access and usage charges imposed by your online service provider will apply. If you participate from your mobile phone, such activity will be subject to the charges pursuant to your wireless service provider’s rate plan. 9. GOVERNING LAW: This Sweepstakes will be governed by the laws of the State of New York, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions that would cause the application of any other state’s laws. Venue for any action concerning the Sweepstakes or these Official Rules will be in the state or federal courts located in New York County.
10. WINNER’S NAME: To receive the names of the Sweepstakes winners, send a stamped, self-addressed envelope before July 1, 2018, to SpongeBob Musical Tickets Winners List, Verizon Services Corp, One Verizon Way, Basking Ridge, NJ 07920.
