A bit about me

My Story

I grew up in Brazil and had the fantastic opportunity to go to university in New York City. The past decade saw me split my time between the French Alps, New York, Boston & Brazil. I love hiking, dancing, reading and spending a pleasant Sunday in a hammock.

My Work

For the last nine years, I've been that exceptional someone that agencies call when a new project abruptly comes up or when small ones become suddenly overwhelming. They know it gets done, and gets done well.

This has given me the opportunity to work with a multitude of teams, utilizing different tools and processes. I've learned to adapt and communicate honestly.

My Process

The ethos behind 'Design Thinking' and 'HCD' are more important to me than the myriad of processes used to achieve a great user experience. I'm happy to work my way or your way, no highway needed.

Openness, curiosity, and politeness are the keystones of how I approach anyone or anything.

'Learning After Effects during a weekend just because you want your first Dribbble shot to twist around,' is the kind of thought process that makes sense to me.

My everyday tools are Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, InVision and an abnormal amount of sticky notes and regular pen and paper. I'm obsessed with stationary and art supplies.

Leave it better than you found it is a sentiment I take to heart and try to aply to everything, everyday.

p.s. I'm not scared of HTML or CSS. I'm definitely Sass-y but JS can make me cower a bit. Don't worry, I'm brave.
